Sir Clive confident sevens will make it to Rio

The International Olympic Committee will vote tonight to decide whether rugby sevens and golf will be included in the 2016 Games in Rio.

If successful rugby would have 12 teams in both the men's and women's tournament, while the top 60 men and women in the world rankings would compete in the golf.

Sir Clive Woodward, who led the England rugby team to the world cup win in 2003 and is now a consultant for the British Olympic Association, says rugby sevens deserves to be an Olympic sport and has a very good chance of becoming one.
