Otago cricketers beaten by Cape Cobras

The Otago cricketers have been beaten by the Cape Cobras by 54 runs in their opening match at the Champions League Twenty20 match in Hyderabad.

Otago chose to field first and watched as the South African side knocked up 193 for 4 in their 20 overs with opener Andrew Puttick scoring an unbeaten century.

Otago started well but lost wickets at regular intervals before being dismissed in the 18th over with Nathan McCullum top scoring with 38.

Otago's next match is against Bangalore tomorrow night.
