The New Zealand netballers have suffered their second loss at the World Series in Manchester, going down 25-22 to Australia.

In the modified format games, the Silver Ferns were behind right through-out the match with Australia leading 16-10 at half time.

Irene van Dyk didn't play with Maria Tutaia and Paula Griffin the shooting options and while they found their range in the second half, they couldn't peg back the Australians.

New Zealand beat Samoa 34-14 in their other match today, while England beat Australia 25-19.

New Zealand will play Australia in the semi-finals.
