Toyota's Timo Glock will miss next weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix due to injury, with Japanese reserve driver Kamui Kobayashi replacing him.
Toyota says medical checks in Germany after the Japanese Grand Prix showed that the German driver had suffered a cracked vertebra when he crashed in qualifying for that race.
Kobayashi will make his Formula One race debut at Interlagos on Sunday,.
