Sydney FC top the standings in Australian football;'s A-League after a 3-0 win over the Victory in Melbourne.

Sydney have 19 points, two ahead of Gold Coast United and Perth whoe beat Adelaide 1-0, whith Melbourne on 15 points, two ahead of the Central Coast Mariners who drew 1-all with North Queensland.

Gold Coast beat Brisbane 1-0.

The Wellington Phoenix had a bye and after a 10 rounds they're eighth on nine points.

The former Phoenix striker Shane Smeltz is the leading scorer with nine goals for Gold Coast.
