If Argentina are to get to the football World Cup they'll have to do it the hard way after a 2-1 home win over Peru ensured they're still have a chance of qualifying when they play Uruguay on Thursday.

Argentina are fourth, one point ahead of Uruguay, while Brazil, Paraguay and Chile have qualified already.

The top four South American teams qualify and the fifth-placed team plays off with the fourth-placed team from North and Central America and the Caribbean.

And in Europe, a 2-0 win in Estonia has assured Bosnia second place in Group Five behind the winners Spain.

Bosnia's never qualified for major tournament as an independent nation and will face another European side next month in a home and away playoff for a place in South Africa.
