Woods clinches Presidents Cup for United States

The World golf number one Tiger Woods has the delivered the clinching match for the United States as they won the Presidents cup for the sixth time.

Woods's 6 and 5 triumph over South Korean Yang Yong-Eun, gave the Americans an unassailable lead over the International side at the Harding Park course in San Francisco, evenutally wining 19 and a half to 14 and a half.

The Internationals have now lost all five Presidents Cups on Americans soil and they never had a chance during the final day singles at Harding Park.

After coming back from knee surgery Woods says the win means 2009 will go down as a great year.
