The IRB rugby sevens series is moving to Sin City.

The IRB has confirmed that the fourth leg of the next world series is moving to Las Vegas.

Over the past five years, the USA leg of the World Series has been held in Los Angeles and San Diego, but organisers have now opted to take it to Las Vegas.

IRB chief executive Mike Miller says sevens and Las Vegas are a perfect fit.

Last week sevens was confirmed in the 2016 and 2020 Olympic games.

The Las Vegas leg will following the Wellington tournament in early February.
