The New Zealand netball coach Ruth Aitken says her side is still failing to give some sides the respect they deserve.
The Silver Ferns needed overtime to beat England 65-59 in their one-off test in Bath this morning.
The New Zealanders were up by 7 in the first quarter but the homeside clawed their way back into the match before taking the lead midway through the final quarter which ended at 51-all/
Aitken says they started well but then just relaxed.
The Silver Ferns now head to Jamaica for 2 tests.
