Auckland City FC have thrashed Tahiti's AS Manu Ura 5-0 at Kiwitea Street on the opening day of the 2010 O-League.
It was 2-0 at half-time.
Recalled All Whites centre back Ivan Vicelich opened the scoring with a headed goal from a corner on the 18th minute, followed by a Chad Coombes goal for City 16 minutes later.
Daniel Koprivcic scored all the second half goals for his hat-trick.
Elsewhere Papua New Guinea's Hekari United FC drew 3-3 at Tafea FC in Port Vila.
On Sunday, Solomon Islanders Marist FC welcome Fiji champions Lautoka to Honiara before Waitakere United travel to Noumea for their clash against New Caledonians AS Magenta next Saturday 24 October.
