New Zealand horses preparing for Caulfied Cup this afternoon

Three New Zealand hopes line up in the field of 18 for racing's Caulfield Cup in Melbourne this afternoon.

Harris Tweed and Daffodil have the better of the barrier draw, starting from gates 2 and 4, but Red Ruler is out wide in 14.

The draw has had a huge impact on the betting, with the European raiders, Cima De Triomphe and Kirklees, shooting to the head of the market in Australia.

The top weight is last year's Melbourne Cup winner, Viewed, and the race is set to go just after 6 o'clock.
