If ticket sales are anything to go by then the All Whites already have one up on World Cup play-off rivals Bahrain.

The decider in Wellington next month sold out over the weekend and there may be an extra 2 to 3 thousand tickets released midweek as the organisers look to expand Westpac Stadium's capacity for the crucial second leg.

New Zealand Football CEO Michael Glading notes that the expected crowd in the capital has eclipsed by almost ten thousand the crowd who watched the first leg nil-all draw at Bahrain.

Michael Glading's excited to already have the biggest ever crowd to watch a football match in New Zealand locked in.
