Two players to appear before NZRU judicial hearing

The Tasman lock Joe Wheeler and Wairarapa flanker Joss Tua-Davidson will both appear at a judicial hearing at the New Zealand Rugby Union on Wednesday over alleged stomping incidents in weekend provincial matches.

Wheeler has been cited for allegedly stamping on the head of Otago flanker Alando Soakai in their Air New Zealand Cup match in Dunedin on Saturday.

While, Wairarapa Bush flanker Joss Tua-Davidson also faces a judicial hearing after being sent off for allegedly stamping on a Mid Canterbury player's head in their Heartland Championship match in Masterton at the weekend.
