World champion ready to talk money

Jenson Button is ready to talk money as the new world motor racing champion but he's keen to stay with the Brawn team.

The 29-year-old Englishman took a hefty pay cut to stay with Brawn this season after the team emerged from the ashes of departed Honda with far more limited resources than the big-spending Japanese.

He is out of contract at the end of the year, but he expects to be rewarded for his efforts and a figure of around $18 million a year has been bandied about in the media.

Button believes Brawn won't be one hit wonders, and they're capable of challenging for victories again next season. Chief executive Nick Fry says the team is in good shape financially, having started the season with barely a sponsor in sight.
