The NZ golfer Danny Lee has posted an even par 72 in the opening round of the first stage of the PGA tour's qualifing school in Texas.
Lee is five strokes behind the leader.
He's tied for 18th, with the top 20 or so and ties after 4 rounds moving to the second of three stages of qualifying for the US PGA tour.
