The New Zealand fast bowler Shane Bond admits he's well down the Test cricket bowling order and will have to fight his way back into the longer form of the game.
Bond hasn't played a Test match since 2007 and acknowledges that the incumbent competition from Chris Martin and Ian Butler won't make it easy, while the national selectors are concerned that he has not played enough first-class cricket recently.
Bond's determined to get back to Test cricket and is planning match practice for after the upcoming limited overs series against Pakistan.
Bond returned to the New Zealand one-day team last month after being part of the rebel Indian Cricket League.
