Waitakere United have been held to a 1-1 draw in the Oceania Football Confederation's Champions League by newcomers AS Magenta in Noumea.
The draw leaves reigning O-League champions Auckland City FC two points clear at the top of Group A after the first round of matches.
Waitakere scored both the goals, an own goal from defender Aaron Scott in the 78th minute inadvertently cancelling out Brent Fisher's first-half strike.
United and Magenta now sit second equal in Group A behind Auckland City while Fiji's Lautoka are top of Group B ahead of Hekari United FC, Tafea FC and Marist FC.
