The New Zealand tennis player Marina Erakovic has been beaten in the first round of an ITF tournament in Italy.
In her comeback after a six-month break due to injury, Erakovic won through 3 rounds of qualifying, but was beaten in her first match in the main draw in 3 sets by wildcard Anna Floris of Italy.
Erakovic hit a career high 49 in the world rankings last year, but is now ranked 240.
