No coach ups the pressure on the players to perform

Being without a coach for the upcoming one day cricket series against Pakistan means the Black Caps players will be held personally accountable for the team's results in the Middle East.

The New Zealanders left for the United Arab Emirates last night with Daniel Vettori to take full control of the side following the resignation of coach Andy Moles.

Batsman Ross Taylor says not having a coach means the players are now individually responsible for the team's performance.

Ross Taylor says the Blackcaps batting has been their achilles heel over the last four years and it's time the batsmen provided their bowlers with some solid run totals to defend.
