F1 season over for another year

With the Formula One season now over the makeup of next year's competition is the main talking point.

Under a proposal to limited the bugets for next year, the current 10 teams will be joined by 3 new ones.

BMW bade farewell to F1 in this morning's Abu Dhabi grand prix, leaving Swiss-based Sauber with an uncertain future under new owners.

Mercedes say they'll stay long-term partners to McLaren, despite persistent talk of them buying a majority stake in champions Brawn GP.

The 61st season of Formula One racing begins in Bahrain on March 14th.
