New captain for wounded Wallabies

The Australian hooker Dean Mumm will captain the Wallabies for the first time, against the county side Gloucestershire, in tonight's opening match of their Grand Slam rugby tour.

The battered Wallabies arrived in London from the Bledisloe Cup- test in Tokyo having already lost Berrick Barnes and Rob Horne for the duration of the tour.

Now senior backs Peter Hynes and Adam Ashley-Cooper are causing serious concern and two forwards, including their number one hooker Stephen Moore, are carrying lesser injuries.
