Blackgrove still leads Southland tour

The US-based New Zealand cyclist Heath Blackgrove continues to hold a 14 second lead heading into this morning's 4th stage of the Tour of Southland.

The Perth-based kiwi Logan Hutchings won yesterday's 165km ride from Invercargil to Gore, with the peleton not far behind.

Blackgove leads overall from Nelson's Jack Bauer, with another 10 seconds back to Marc Ryan of Timaru.

The fourth stage is 88km from Invercargill to Tuatapere, while this afternoon's 5th stage is 102km from Tuatapere to Winton.
