The connections of yesterday's Melbourne Cup winner Shocking have been invited to take on the world next March in the Middle East.
Four year old Shocking, bought three years ago by 36 year old Queenslander Laurence Eales, a self-made millionaire, and trained by Mark Kavanagh, has been invited to join his star stablemate Whobegotyou at the Dubai World Cup night in March.
Owner Laurence Eales wasn't prepared to make a decision last night as he intended partying on possibly until tonight, celebrating Shocking's success.
