McCullum smashes second ODI century

Brendon McCullum's second one day international cricket century and a timely three wickets from Scott Styris have helped steer New Zealand to a 64-run win over Pakistan in the second match in Abu Dhabi.

Powered on by opener McCullum's 131, New Zealand posted 303 for eight and then bowled out Pakistan for 239 runs in 47.2 overs to square the three-match series at 1-1.

Salman Butt and Khalid Latif gave Pakistan a solid start by scoring 77 for the first wicket in just over 16 overs before Dan Vettori trapped Latiff lbw.

Then Styris had Younus Khan caught at midwicket and got Shahid Afridi one ball later before he'd scored with Ross Taylor taking both chances.

Earlier McCullum took smashed 14 fours and three sixes in an 129 ball innings as he and Martin Guptill (62) added 126 for the second wicket.
