Perth beat Breakers

Perth produced a sizzling three-point shooting display to consolidate top spot on the Australian National Basketball League ladder with a 94-74 home win over the New Zealand Breakers.

The Wildcats nailed 14 of their 27 three-pointers to hand the Breakers their second straight loss.

The Homeside led 22-5 in the first quarter and were never threatened with forward Shawn Redhage top scoring with 22.

Tony Ronaldson and Rick Rickert scored 13 each for the Breakers who are 5th on the table.... they return home to play the Wildcats again on Thursday.
