Cricket series decided tonight

5:13 pm on 9 November 2009

Momentum has shifted quickly in the one day cricket series between New Zealand and Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and there are few clues what may happen in the 3rd and deciding match tonight.

Pakistan, who have not won a one-day series since beating the West Indies there last year, scored a 138-run win in the first match, while a century from Brendan McCullum scored a century as the Black Caps won the second match by 64-runs.

The toss could have a bearing ... the side who has won it has batted first and won the game.

Black Caps skipper Daniel Vettori says he wants to put more on the Pakistani's.

He says they did well throughout the recent Champions Trophy as most of the games they played were must win games and they stepped up, so he's hoping the team does it one more time.

After the one-day series both teams move to Dubai where they play two Twenty20 matches on Thursday and Friday night.
