NZ cricketers win one day series

The New Zealand cricketers have won the one day series against Pakistan after taking out the third match in Abu Dhabi by 7 runs, but they were given an almighty scare at the end.

After winning the toss and batting first New Zealand were dismissed for 211 in the 47th over with Brendan McCullum top scoring with 76, while Ross Taylor made 44.

Pakistan lost regular wickets in their run chase... and were 101 for 9, before the last pair put on a world record 103 runs.

Mohammad Aamer scored an unbeaten 73 and Saeed Ajmal 33.

Jacob Oram took 3 wickets each.

The sides now meet in 2 Twenty20 matches in Dubai starting on Thursday night.
