Cruden hopes Manawatu can stay in Air NZ Cup

The Manawatu first-five Aaron Cruden's made the expected transition to Super 14 rugby with his inclusion in the Hurricanes squad.

He's one of 21 newcomers to super rugby and makes the move up with another star from the World Cup winning Under 20 side's back-line, Southland's Robbie Robinson, who's with the Highlanders.

Cruden's also had a good season in the Air New Zealand Cup and he's hoping the NZRU's review of the competition will mean he won't have to stay in Wellington after the Super 14.

Aaron Cruden says he'll working on his goal kicking and trying to bulk up in the gym.
