A New Zealand golfer's just a shot behind the leaders at the Australian Masters in Melbourne after the opening round.
Doug Holloway of Hawke's Bay posted a five under par first round to lie in fourth equal place, just one stroke behind the American world number one Tiger Woods, South Africa's Branden Grace and Australian James Nitties.
The next best New Zealand golfer is Tim Wilkinson, tied for 14th on two under.
