The All Whites striker Rory Fallon says he visualised scoring a goal all week heading into last night's football world cup qualifier against Bahrain that he'd score.

And on the stroke of halftime he did, as the All Whites went one nil up and kept that lead right through to fulltime, earning themselves a place at the 2010 tournament in South Africa next year.

Goalkeeper Mark Paston saved a penalty early in the second half which would have levelled the scores at one all which would have been enough for Bahrain.

Fallon has been in goal scoring form for his English club and was confident he could find the back of the net for the All Whites.
