The Pakistan cricketers have arrrived in New Zealand for a three test series with the Black Caps in which they're the hosts because they can't play at home,.

Pakistan have been playing abroad since the Sri Lankan teams' bus was ambushed in Lahore in March.

Coach Intikhad Alam doesn't know when they'll be able to play at home but hopes it'll be soon.

He says things are getting better in Pakistan and for the sake of the game there it can't happen quickly enough with Abu Dhabi and Dubai becoming the team's second home.

Pakistan play a New Zealand Invitation XI in a three day match, starting on Wednesday in Queenstown, and the first test starts in Dunedin next Tuesday.
