Ponting says he'll go to England again

Ricky Ponting has resolved to captain an Ashes-winning side in England before he retires, firmly underlining his intention to lead Australia in the 2013 cricket series.

Ponting, who turns 35 next month, surrendered the greatest prize in Test cricket to the Old Enemy as captain of Australia in 2005, and again this year left England as a losing skipper.

In doing so, he became just the second ever Australian captain in the contest's 132-year history to lead two unsuccessful Ashes tours of England.

Ponting says he's ready to return to England - so long as his fitness and form warrant selection.
