The 10 -times National Basketball Association All-Star guard Allen Iverson has left the Memphis Grizzlies just a few months after joining them as a free agent.
The 34-year-old 's been on a leave of absence foer more than a week to deal with an undisclosed personal matter and the club says he's stepping away from the game so he can focus on it.
Iverson was the NBA's most valuable player in 2001 and played for the Philadelphia 76ers for 10 years before joining the Denver Nuggets and Detroit Pistons.
