The Sri Lankan opening batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan brought up his 5th test cricket century this year as he led a fightback against India on the second day of the first test in Ahmedabad.
Dilshan, who passed a late fitness test on a sprained ankle, made 112 as Sri Lanka cruised to 275 for 3 at stumps in reply to India's first innings total of 426.
The Indian batsman Rahul Dravid didn't add to his unbeaten 177 on the first day.
