Last World Cup places at stake

The last six places in football's World Cup will be filled by tomorrow with four teams from Europe to advance after second leg matches in which all eight teams still in contention.

Ireland have a one goal deficit to make up after the 1998 champions France won in Dublin and they'll be the underdogs in Paris but captain Robbie Keane says that puts the pressure on the home side.

Portugal and Russia will defend a 1-0 advantages in Bosnia and Slovenia respectively while Greece are in Ukraine after a scoreless draw in Athens.

Algeria and Egypt are level on points and goal difference , and Uruguay lead Costa Rica 1-nil.
