The New Zealand Breakers have suffered another away loss in the Australian National Basketball League, beaten 77-64 in Cairns last night.
Point guard CJ Bruton was the only player to reach double-figures for the Breakers while a former Hawkes Bay NBL player Dusty Rychart scored a game high 19 for Cairns and a former Breaker import Rich Melzer got 17.
The Breakers' fifth straight loss on the road sees them slip to sixth in the eight team competition which Perth lead from Wollongong and Adelaide.
They play fourth-placed Townsville tomorrow night.
