The return of pace bowlers Shane Bond and Darryl Tuffey are the features of the New Zealand cricket squad named to play Pakistan in the first two Tests of the three-Test series which starts in Dunedin on Tuesday.

Tuffey's in line to play his first Test in five years while Bond will undoubtedly be included in the playing XI for what will be his first Test in two years after being involved in the rebel Indian league.

Convenor of selectors Mark Greatbatch says both players are excited at the prospect of playing.
