Pressure on NZ batters in test series

12:17 pm on 23 November 2009

The batting will again be the key to the New Zealand crciketers in the test series against pakistan which starts in Dunedin tomorrow.

Consistency is something the Black Caps batsmen haven't been able to achieve for some time.

For that reason the Black caps are likely to take 6 batters into the test at University Oval, with Brandan McCullum and Daniel Vettori the all-rounders and 3 pace bowlers.

Selector Mark Greatbatch says the onus is on the batters and they're been working hard.
