Italy's Olympic Commitee says it has banned a road cyclist for 20 years for doping.

Gianni Da Ros rode for Liquigas and had only just turned professional when he and 10 others were arrested in March after a long-running investigation into doping across Italian sport.

Top riders Danilo Di Luca and Riccardo Ricco are also among a raft of Italian cyclists to test positive for performance-enhancing drugs in recent years.
