Southee destroys Wellington batting lineup

Having missed out on the New Zealand side to play Pakistan, fast bowler Tim Southee given the selectors food for thought in taking 8-28, his best ever first class bowler figures, as he all but single handedly dismissed Wellington, in their Plunket Shield match in Hamilton.

Wellington were all out for 263 and Northern Districts in reply are six for none at stumps

An unbroken third wicket stand of 302 between one day international Neil Broom and Shaun Haigh has Otago 357 for two against Central Districts, with Broom on 159 and Haig 150.
