The New Zealand pacer Monkey King confirmed himself as the best horse in Australasian harness racing when he smashed the Australian record to win the Miracle mile yesterday in Sydney.
The seven-year-old added Australia's biggest race to his New Zealand Cup and Free-For-All double earlier this month at Addington, giving driver Ricky May his 50th group one win.
May says Monkey King is the best horse he's ever driven, and he might take him back to Australia for next month's Victoria Cup.
