Italy are celebrating their first victory at the World Cup of Golf, after brothers Francesco and Edoardo Molinari won a dramatic three-way final round tussle with Sweden and Ireland last night at Mission Hills in southern China.

The Italians found their putting touch on the back nine to post a final round 68 for a total of 29-under par, giving them a one stroke victory over Ireland who'd led all week, and the defending champions Sweden.

The New Zealand pair David Smail and Danny Lee, who were tied for 7th at the halfway stage, had a closing round of 71 to finish tied for 20th among the 28 teams.
