The Wellington motorcyclist Bruce Anstey has added another accolade to his impressive career.
Anstey has smashed the lap record on his way to a crushing win in the Isle of Man Formula One Classic TT on board a 500cc former grand prix Yamaha.
The 45-year-old Anstey, who is the outright lap record holder on the 64-kilometre road circuit, set a classic lap record of 199.4 kilometres per hour as he won the three-lap race by more than a minute.
The event has the world's top road racers competing on the TT circuit on historic racing motorcycles.
