Delay to start of second cricket test

12:29 pm on 3 December 2009

Play will not start on time at midday in the second cricket test between New Zealand and Pakistan in Wellington.

The umpires have decided that the Basin Reserve outfield is too wet to start.

The Black Caps are likely to stick with the same side that played the first test in Dunedin with the exception of Daryl Tuffey replacing the injured Shane Bond.

New Zealand won the first test by 32 runs.
