The Wellington Phoenix will use last weekend's horror loss to Brisbane in the football A-League for motivation when they meet Melbourne at Westpac Stadium tomorrow night.
The Phoenix were beaten 4-1 by the seventh-placed roar after defender Manny Muscat was red-carded for elbowing a Brisbane player.
Muscat has been side-lined for the next three matches and the team face a possible fine for showing dissent towards a match official directly after the elbow incident.
Phoenix coach Ricky Herbert says the team intends to put last weekend's events behind them with a win against Melbourne.
