New Zealand has the upper hand after the first day of the second cricket test against Pakistan in Wellington, with Pakistan 161 for six at stumps.
Black Caps skipper Dan Vettori won the toss and opted to bowl at the Basin Reserve, a decision he may have regretted when Pakistan were 60 without loss.
But Pakistan then lost three quick wickets slumping to 66 for three, which then became 119 for four when pace bowler Darryl Tuffey, in for the injured Shane Bond and playing his first test in five years, bowled first test century maker, Umar (pron OOH MAH)
