England have called up uncapped Durham seamer Mark Davies to their Test cricket squad in South Africa as cover for James Anderson and Ryan Sidebottom.
Paceman Anderson is struggling with a knee injury while Sidebottom has a side strain.
England are due to meet South Africa in Centurion on December the 16th in the first match of a four test series.
