Everton draw with Spurs

7:19 am on 7 December 2009

Everton came from behind with 2 late goals to grab a 2-all draw with Tottenham in their English Premier League footbal fixture at Goodison Park.

Spurs were cruising after goals by Jermain Defoe and Michael Dawson, but Everton hit back through Louis Saha and Tim Cahill in the last 12 minutes before Defoe's penalty was saved by Tim Howard in stoppage time.

The result meant that Spurs remain fourth in the standings on 27, one behind Arsenal after their 2-nil home win over Stoke City yesterday.

Chelsea, beaten 2-1 by Manchester City, still lead the way on 36 points, two ahead of Manchester United, who won 4-nil at West Ham United.

In this morning's other game Fulham beat Sunderland 1-nil with an early goal by Bobby Zamora.
