The New Zealand and Samoan rugby unions have confirmed next year's historic All Blacks Test in Apia will be played on July 8th.
The two sides have played five Tests since their first encounter at Eden Park in 1993 but have never played in Samoa.
The chairman of the Samoa union and the country's prime minister Tuilaepa Sailele says he hopes the All Blacks visit will lead to other top flight nations to play in Samoa.
The All Blacks coach Steve Hansen says the Test will be an ideal lead in to the Rugby Championship and their quest for a second successive Rugby World Cup.
The chairman of New Zealand Rugby Brent Impey says the test "will be a wonderful celebration of the rich rugby connections and proud history that bind New Zealand and Samoa.
"We know how much rugby means to Samoans and New Zealanders so to take the All Blacks to Apia will be a huge moment for all of us."
NZ Rugby chief executive Steve Tew as a part oif the agreement they will only have their costs covered and will not make any money from the game.
All Blacks players involved in the last two weeks of the Super Rugby play-offs won't be available for the Test, but coach Steve Hansen says they will select the best team possible.
