There is a possibility that Pakistan will play a world eleven to help raise funds to sustain cricket in the country.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has met with the ICC to discuss their current financial situation which has come about through the fallout of the Lahore terror attacks on the Sri Lankan team in March and the subsequent banishment of Pakistan as an international cricket venue.
Losses of more than 150 million dollars have been claimed by the PCB as a series of tours have been relocated, postponed and cancelled.
The PCB and the ICC have been discussing the possibility of a series of limited over matches - ODI or T20s - between an ICC World XI and Pakistan in the UK or the Middle East next year.
The Pakistan team is currently playing its home test series in New Zealand.
